Anatole Chujoy introduces Greer Garson; Garson speaks about Alexandra Danilova including her background and the first time she saw Danilova perform, in London; Greer reads aloud some passages about Danilova from a book by Walter Terry as well as a congratulatory telegram from Ted Shawn and the award citation. Danilova accepts the award with a brief speech.
