The performance continues on *MGZIC 9-4832 and 9-4833, also titled Dewa Pecil, Bahgian. Some sections of this performance may be recognized in theatricalized form in Alum's choreographic work Made in Malaysia/a shamanic journey, first presented at the Asia Society, New York, in June 1991. Among these are the Main puteri, an exorcism ritual performed by a male or female shaman and a rebab player who acts as an interrogator, and the Mak yong, a dance-drama in which women perform all the roles except those of clowns.
